HUATUO Selected as a Key Project in the CCF-Guanghua Youth Open Source Special Fund Seed Program
On August 16, 2026, the 2026 CCF China Open Source Conference (CCF ChinaOSC) concluded in Chongqing. The conference was hosted by the China Computer Federation, co-organized by the CCF Technical Committee on Open Source Development and Chongqing University, and supported by the Tiangong Kaiwu Open Source Foundation. During the conference, the CCF-Guanghua Youth Open Source Special Fund Seed Program announced its first cohort. HUATUO was selected as a Key Project (Key tier), one of six Key Projects in the cohort.
A Program for the AI Open Source Ecosystem
The Seed Program supports the development, iteration, deployment, and adoption of AI open source projects through Basic and Key tiers. Its first cohort includes 23 projects: six Key Projects and 17 Basic Projects, spanning AI infrastructure, model toolchains, and systems software.
Through CCF ChinaOSC, the program helps selected projects advance engineering adoption and community collaboration. HUATUO’s selection recognizes its technical direction and open source work, and brings operating system observability into broader AI open source collaboration.
HUATUO: Deep Observability for Cloud-Native and AI Infrastructure
Built on eBPF and Linux kernel tracing, HUATUO provides a diagnostic workflow covering anomaly detection, live forensics, performance profiling, and centralized queries. It supports major CPU, GPU, and NPU platforms and Linux distributions; runs on bare metal, virtual machines, containers, and Kubernetes; and integrates with observability stacks including Prometheus, Grafana, Pyroscope, and Elasticsearch. HUATUO provides low-level performance analysis for Go, Java, and Python applications, as well as AI training and inference workloads.
HUATUO v2.3.0 is now available, with new and improved capabilities for continuous profiling, software and hardware network packet-drop diagnostics, TCP retransmission tracing, Ascend NPU metrics, Kubernetes deployment, and multiple storage backends.
